Mike Evans Earns Sixth Career Pro Bowl Selection

Mike Evans, one of the most prolific wide receivers in the NFL, has been selected to represent the NFC in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. This marks his sixth career Pro Bowl appearance, a remarkable achievement that places him among the elite players in Buccaneers franchise history.

Replacing CeeDee Lamb due to Injury

On Monday, the NFL announced Evans would join the NFC Pro Bowl roster, stepping in for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is currently out of action due to injury. Evans stands alongside fellow Buccaneers teammates, tackle Tristan Wirfs and defensive lineman Vita Vea, both of whom were selected to the Pro Bowl earlier in January.

Record-Breaking Honors

Evans’ six Pro Bowl selections tie him with Mike Alstott, a former Buccaneers legend, for the most by an offensive player in franchise annals. Only Hall of Fame defenders Derrick Brooks (11) and Warren Sapp (7) outshine Evans in Pro Bowl appearances within the Buccaneers organization.

1,000-Yard Seasons Afar

Evans’ recent accolades extend beyond the Pro Bowl. He is the second player in NFL history to accumulate at least 1,000 receiving yards for 11 consecutive years, following Jerry Rice. Evans achieved this feat despite missing three games and parts of another due to a hamstring injury, catching 74 passes for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2024 season.

Standing Tall in NFL Records

Over a decade in the NFL, Evans has compiled an impressive 836 receptions for 12,864 yards and 105 touchdowns. His 105 career touchdown receptions rank ninth in the league’s record books, with five seasons featuring double-digit touchdowns.

2025 Pro Bowl: Orlando, Florida

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be staged in Orlando, Florida, from January 30 through February 2, culminating in a unique flag football finale. Evans will represent the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, adding to the storied football legacy that the franchise embodies.
