Notably, Meta AI won’t retain any information from group chats to maintain privacy. Users can also delete any information Meta AI has stored at any time, providing control over their data.

Another noteworthy feature is Meta AI’s integration with Meta’s suite of apps to offer personalized recommendations. The chatbot will leverage data from various services, including home location from Facebook profiles and recently viewed Instagram videos, to tailor responses.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg highlighted this feature in a recent post, stating, “Meta AI will start to give you answers based on what preferences and information you’ve shared. For example, it’s helped me come up with creative bedtime stories for my daughters, so if I ask it for a new one, it remembers they love mermaids.”
