Merry Christmas from the animal world – Tierschutz Austria starts annual Christkind campaign

From November 21 to December 23, 2022, gifts can be given to over 100 animals

Vösendorf (OTS) Rabbits, hedgehogs and deer trudge through the snow. The forest is very thick with snow, now it’s here – the Christmas season. Even if not every animal in the animal shelter in Vösendorf is happy about the snow and cold, one thing is certain – the annual Christkind campaign by Tierschutz Austria makes all eyes sparkle. Because not only humans, also animals are happy to be loved and given gifts. As in previous years, animal lovers now have the opportunity to fulfill Christmas wishes for animals who have to spend Christmas Eve in the animal shelter.

From November 21st to December 23rd, 2022 it is possible to give presents to around 100 animal protégés in the Vösendorf animal shelter. The focus is on long-seaters: those animals that have been waiting for their great fortune – a home of their own – for more than a year.

The gifts from the Christkind campaign are a special kind of donation. This year, too, the gift handovers will be documented in the form of photos and the donors can see the happy protégés in the Christkind picture gallery on the website and the social media channels of Observe Tierschutz Austria regularly.

This is how you too can become an animal Christkind:

Visit our website at www.tierschutz-austria.at/christkindaktion.

Choose your personal protégé from the animal overview and register.

You will then be emailed your pet’s wish list and the matching gift tag.

Obtain one, several or even all of your protégé’s wishes and bring your gift in person or send it by post to the Vienna Animal Shelter (Triester Str. 8, 2331 Vösendorf).
