Medications and hygiene products were delivered to the provincial health system
The Laformed provincial laboratory delivered 250 thousand 10 milligram amlodipine tablets and 10 thousand units of toothpaste to the Purchasing Unit for Medicinal Products and Supplies (UCPIM)within the framework of strengthening the supply of the public health system.
The lawyer Ricardo AcostaLaformed plant manager, highlighted that the delivery of toothpastes responds to a request from the Oral Health Directorate, in the context of the beginning of the holiday camps. Amlodipine tablets, in hospital presentations of 12 units per box, will be distributed to health centers and hospitals throughout the province through the UCPIM.
In addition, the laboratory reported that the distribution of SPF 30 sunscreen to workers exposed to solar radiation, such as health workers, rural teachers, REFSA operators and vacation camp staff, as well as to attending children, is coordinated with dermatological specialists, within the framework of a preventive health plan.
These actions are part of the strategy of Laformed and the provincial Ministry of Health to guarantee access to essential medicines and hygiene products, ensuring the care and protection of the population during the summer.
