ARCI JOSHUA BLUES CLUB, via Cantoniga 11, Albate
Friday 5 May, from 9.30pmfinished the recordings of the new album, Tommaso Imperiali and the Five Quarters they return live at the Arci Joshua Blues Club for a spectacular full band show. Opening act: Tia Palomba & The Lazy Folks.

Saturday 6 May, at 9.30pmRockin’Bones Night con Diplomatics e Just Kids. I Diplomatics are a band from Venice, whose sound recalls the New York of the seventies: a mix of rock&soul with a touch of R’n’B, played with punk attitude and great energy. Inspired by bands and artists such as the Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, The Clash, Dead Boys, Stooges but also The Meters, The Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder and the Grateful Dead, the Diplomatics offer rare, powerful and modern rock’n’roll. From their first album until today, they have played for quite some time in Europe, supporting important bands such as Slaughter & the Dogs, Buzzcocks, Lisa & the Lips, Vic Godard, The Kids, Fleshtones, Giuda, Nikki Corvette, The Sonics, Tre Allegri Dead Boys and many more.
I Just Kids they are eternal kids in love with rock’n’roll, a meeting of souls from pop to blues to punk with still the desire to play with music. A perfect alchemy of four “differently young” friends who from the first timidly hinted covers, led in a short time, as if by magic, to the creation of unreleased songs. With melodic but biting sonorities, Just Kids bring pure energy to the stage proposing an engaging mix of original pieces and covers of timeless songs, interpreted as only they know how to do.

THE MUSIC WORKSHOP, via Giulini 14/b, Como
Thursday 4 May, at 9 pmthe stage of the Workshop will host the sixth appointment of 2023 with the Jam Session, jazz, and more, at will with the band of L’Officina della Musica. The event is open to all musicians who want to perform on stage accompanied by the masters of the Workshop and to all those who want to discover the charm and energy of live music. At the disposal of the musicians: amplification system, mixer, drums, a baby grand piano, lighting system and all the experience of the Workshop.

Friday 5 May, at 9 pmthe Young Jazz Room will host Alessandro Casè Trio Ft. Caterina Comeglio in Singin’ Basie, a journey through some of the most famous pieces of Count Basie’s repertoire, rearranged for vocal quartet. An excursus between great classics such as Shiny Stockings and Everyday I Have the Blues, the famous Honeysuckle Rose and Satin Doll, up to songs less known to the general public. All with a well-established rhythm and experience, and the addition of a recognized specialist of the genre, Caterina Comeglio on vocals.

Saturday 6 May, at 9 pm, will hold the sixth and last evening of the cycle The ABC of Italian song titled with the final letters of the alphabet The ABC of Italian song (STUVZ)with songs, among others, by Silvestri, Sorrenti, Bobby Solo, Tenco, Togni, Tozzi, Venditti, Vecchioni, Vanoni, Zucchero, Zero and Zarrillo.
The musicians who will perform these masterpieces are all teachers of the Notasunota music school:

Sunday 7 May, at 9 pmThe Workshop will host the 26th edition of the Bolognino D’Oro by Alfredo Scogna, in collaboration with the Association of Abruzzo people in Lombardy “Raffaele Mattioli”. The evening will take place with the performance of many artists, who will offer different types of music: pop, blues, jazz, classical and opera. There will be some poets and writers. Furthermore, the “Raffaele Mattioli” Association, through its President Vincenzo Giannico, will deliver an award to an excellence from Abruzzo that has distinguished itself in Lombardy. The prize consists in the reproduction of a statuette of the famous “Warrior of Capestrano”. The Bolognino D’oro is not a competition, but simply a showcase where professional artists give away a part of themselves and their artistic world. It is a Festival in a family embrace. The Bolognino D’oro is sponsored by the Abruzzo Region and the Municipality of Guardiagrele where the event was born.

Saturday 6 May, at 10pmwill perform Emit, pseudonym of Emanuele Conte, it might seem like a diminutive of his name but, unexpectedly, it is the acronym of a master’s degree course: Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology. For him, those years of study represent a particular moment, of decisions and changes, in which he understood that he had to enjoy his journey and try to use his music to create comfort and connection with others. A music made of contrasts that however coexist in harmony: the lyrics tell sad stories but often approached in a subtly ironic key, the songs are based on the spontaneous and expressive groove of the guitar that meets synthetic but in their own way organic, alive lo-fi beats.
