The sports director of Monbus Obradoiro, José Luis Mateo, highlights the importance of valuing the milestone that the Santiago club has achieved: linking ten consecutive seasons in the highest category of Spanish basketball, something that no Galician team had achieved to date.

Mateo reviewed the start of the preseason, in a context of uncertainty due to the evolution of the pandemic, with new protocols. One of the measures that is being taken is that the players do not use the changing rooms in these first days of work.

It also analyzes the configuration of the squad, after the departure of important players, such as Vladimir Brodziansky and Kostas Vasileiadis, and with six new faces: Rafa García, Álex Suárez, the first to arrive, and Kartal Ozmizrak, Kassius Robertson, Steve Enoch and Jake Cohen.
