Memorable Passage: tribute to Margaret (Peggy) Finn

In recent news, the community of Kildysart, Co. Clare has lost a beloved figure, Margaret (Peggy) Finn, peacefully passing away at University Hospital Limerick. Margaret, also known as Peggy, was cherished not only by her family, but also by her extended network of friends, neighbours, and coworkers.

A Life Well-Lived

Margaret was the daughter of the late Patrick and Kathleen Custy. She was predeceased by her parents but leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and compassion.

Family Tributes

Her loving husband Mikey, sons David and Michael, daughters Caroline, Catherine, and Margaret, daughters-in-law Anne and Maggie, and sons-in-law Mourad and Dermot will miss her deeply. Margaret was also committed to her seven grandchildren – Natale, Dara, Lara, Rory, Sean, Adam, Aoibhe, Jamie, Sam, and Max – who will remember her wisdom and unyielding support.

Surrounded by Love

Margaret’s passing was made more bearable by the loving presence of her brothers James and Pat, sisters Marie and Veronica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and steadfast friends.

Memorial Arrangements

Margaret’s family invites the community to honor her memory during a farewell viewing service. The visitation will take place on Friday evening, 3rd January, from 6pm to 8pm in Saint Michael’s Church, Kildysart (V95 D259), with prayers commencing at 8pm.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, 4th January, commencing at 12:30pm in the same location. Those who opt to attend the memorial service can later attend a Cremation service at 3pm in Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30).

Family Flowers Only Please

The family has requested that visitors refrain from bringing flowers and instead consider donations that can be used to support a meaningful cause in their loved one’s honor.

Memories of Margaret will resonate through the stories shared about her, and her light continues to illuminate the path for those she leaves behind. May she Rest In Peace.
