The low stipend of students pushes them to work part-time, including prostitution. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Mikhail Delyagin.
According to him, this negatively affects the young people themselves and their development of the curriculum. The parliamentarian stressed that people who say that university students can live on a scholarship of three thousand rubles probably mean that a student should “work as a loader and should not have time to study.”
“In other words, this refers to student prostitution,” Delyagin is quoted by Govorit Moskva.
The deputy explained that student poverty forces young people to choose either to be in a state of lack of food, or to engage in prostitution through the Internet.
Earlier, Irina Khakamada, a former State Duma deputy, ex-presidential candidate, made a harsh statement regarding the Russian mobilized, who were drafted into the ranks of the RF Armed Forces in the fall of 2022. Read more about this in the material of the Public News Service.
