Los Angeles Opens Four Recovery Centers for Wildfire Victims
Mayor Karen Bass announced the launch of four new recovery centers to help those impacted by January’s wildfires in Los Angeles. These centers offer employment assistance, family support, and business aid tailored to the needs of those affected.
Location and Hours of Operation
The new Impacted Worker and Family Recovery Centers are situated across a range of neighborhoods to reach as many individuals as possible. Each center is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The center locations are:
- 5446 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City;
- 13356 Eldridge Ave., Sylmar;
- 4305 Degnan Blvd., West Los Angeles;
- 2130 First St., East Los Angeles.

“The workers, small business owners, and families who lost their livelihoods in the recent fires live all across our city and region,” Bass explained.
“The fires destroyed the workplaces of thousands of gardeners, restaurant workers, house cleaners, childcare workers, and more. As we rebuild our neighborhoods, we are also going to do everything we can to make sure every family who was impacted can rebuild their lives,” she added.

- Filing taxes
- Claiming up to $10,000 in tax credits
- Referrals to immigration services

To ensure that every visitor receives the specific support they need, the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles will provide case workers. These professionals will guide individuals through personalized disaster action plans using the Relief Navigator, an online resource tool.
The Relief Navigator can connect individuals with government programs, insurance assistance, home damage remediation, and other essential recovery services.
