During the closed period of Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall (January 2021 to October 2010), a series “Yokohama 18 Ward Concert” will be held to visit cultural facilities such as halls and public halls in each ward of Yokohama City and deliver chamber music concerts. It is being held.
This CD is a live recording of Kotaro Fukuma and members of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra held at the Tsurumi Ward Cultural Center Salvia Hall on January 27, 2022 from the same concert series.
Kotaro Fukuma, a soloist, has released CDs of a wide variety of genres, and has also performed with well-known orchestras in Japan and overseas, attracting many fans to this day. This time, the long-awaited recording of “Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1” has been completed, co-starring with the string quintet by Toshihide members of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
Chopin’s lyrical world, which was held under the influence of the limited number of seats due to the Korona-ka, was expressed with rich sympathy by the soloists and string quintet members. It impressed the audience deeply.
