Now she answers the question that many have asked about her.
– I don’t want to open that door, she says.

Linn Svahn has not exactly been lucky during major championships during his career. She missed last year’s Ski World Championships after injuring herself in training just before, and she was also forced to sit out the last Winter Olympics, in 2022, due to a shoulder injury that also prevented her from giving her all during the previous year’s World Championships.

Now Linn Svahn hopes that she will be able to go into a championship whole and with the conditions on her side, after finally recovering from the concussion that stopped her from competing during the WC in Trondheim last year. But even this season, the head injury has affected her, when she announced that she will no longer do as many interviews with the media, as she still easily experiences fatigue after the blow.

Linn Svahn on privacy

But Linn Svahn has always been a person who protects her privacy. The national skiing team is otherwise known for its openness and how much they always offer themselves – and an example is that right now there is an SVT series called “Utan filter“, which follows the national team behind the scenes. But Linn Svahn has, even before the concussion, often protected her privacy – and now she explains why.
– I guess I’ve always liked being in peace… It’s like a noise. Especially now since the concussion and such, she says in “Utan filter”.

However, Linn Svahn believes that she is completely different in her private sphere, and towards those who are close to her.
– I’ve always been quite careful to be open to those I care about having near and around me, but that I don’t want to open that door to the whole thing.
