The Kaspar Hecher Foundation wants to help families in Lenggries
There is a new foundation in the Brauneck community: the “Kaspar Hecher Foundation”, the purpose of which is to promote education and upbringing as well as to support families. Corresponding institutions can receive grants that are intended to benefit children, young people and families with their main residence in Lenggries. “That is the express wish of the founder,” said treasurer Michael Wenig on Monday in the local council.
The basic assets amount to 500,000 euros, the foundation’s tasks are financed from the interest income, and donations are also possible. The administration of the funds is in the hands of the municipality. Mayor Stefan Klaffenbacher (FWG) expressly thanked the founder, “that enables us to do some projects”. Suggestions have already been received. The statutes come into force on April 1st and have been unanimously approved by the local council.
The “Kaspar Hecher Foundation” is the fourth in the community; In total, basic assets of almost 4.5 million euros are now available for charitable purposes. The “Hans and Barbara Huber Foundation” was founded in 2006, the purpose of which is to support Lenggries families with many children. At the end of 2020, the foundation’s assets amounted to 1.3 million euros. The “Josef and Irmgard Brückl Foundation” has existed since 2010, currently with 1.6 million euros, which is used for child and youth welfare. In 2011 the “Karin and Dr. Ernst F. Schröder Foundation” was founded. It serves to promote “charitable purposes”, in particular “needy Christian individuals” as well as children and the elderly from the community. The foundation’s assets currently amount to one million euros.
