The project, spanning nearly three years from late 2021 to October 2024, has seen the installation of new EV charging stations at 20 Virši gas stations nationwide. This project provided an prospect to attract more than one million euros from the European Union to develop a network of powerful “Virši” electric car charging stations throughout Latvia. We have installed 160 kW of fast charging stations not only in riga and Pieriga, but also in cities like Liepaja, Rezekne, Valka and Grenctal. All stations operate with 100% of Latvian -produced renewable electricity,providing our customers a convenient,secure and environmentally amiable charge. This allows you to move with an electric car without worries not only in the territory of Latvia but also in the nearest neighboring countries. In the course of the project, we have become the first in Latvia, which has introduced the opportunity to pay for charging with both the bank card and the cash – at the box office of gas stations.
