During the photoshoot, Lady Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – opened up about her experiences as a public figure.
“I’m just trying to feel as in my skin as possible and not like I’m performing all the time,” she told Elle UK. “For me, I’m at a place in my life where I just want to feel like myself in clothes. Whatever that means. So if that’s changing, I just want to go with that feeling.”
Lady Gaga also expressed her love for her persona and how it has shaped her career.
“I love being Lady Gaga. I love being me. I became a star when I was 20. Everything gets reflected back to you that this persona is what makes you special,” she added.
