Meeting the Growing Demand for Yoga instruction

As yoga’s popularity continues to surge globally, with participation rates steadily climbing, the demand for qualified instructors is also on the rise. In response,the Foggian association “Laboratory of Being,” a hub for holistic disciplines,is expanding its offerings with a new yoga teacher training course. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive instruction and certification for aspiring yoga teachers in the Capitanata region and beyond.

Globally, the yoga industry is booming.According to recent studies, the yoga market is projected to reach $66.2 billion by 2027, demonstrating the sustained interest and growth in this ancient practice. This growth underscores the need for well-trained and certified yoga instructors.

Comprehensive 250-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program

Starting in September 2025, the “Laboratory of Being,” located at Via Pa della Bella, 3, will host a 250-hour training course recognized by CSEN (National Educational Sports center). Upon triumphant completion of the final exam, participants will receive a National Diploma and a First Level Yoga Gymnastics instructor sports card.

The curriculum is designed to be thorough and in-depth, covering a wide range of essential topics:

• history and philosophy of yoga
• Anatomy
• asanas (postures)
• Construction of sequences and thematic lessons
• Breathing and meditative techniques
• Mantra and mudra
• Hatha Yoga tradition

Beyond the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga, the training also incorporates practical skills necessary for effective teaching:

• Communication techniques
• Student-teacher relationship management
• Teacher ethics
• Active listening
• Basic elements of tax management for a center

The course’s comprehensive nature makes it accessible even to individuals with limited prior yoga experience, ensuring a solid foundation for teaching the discipline.

Course Structure and Schedule

Lessons will be conducted on weekends,typically one or two weekends per month,and will include on-site internships. the final exam is scheduled for July 2026.

Meet the Instructor

The course will be lead by Gabriella Maestri, director of the “Laboratory of Being,” a seasoned Yoga 500h teacher, Pilates instructor, Holistic Operator, and Ayurvedic naturopath. Her extensive experience and diverse skill set promise a well-rounded and enriching learning experience for participants.
