Kukharev discussed topical issues of school education with teachers

May 14, Minsk / Corr. BELTA/. Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev met with teachers at the Minsk City Hall to discuss topical issues of education, BelTA has learned.

The event “Academy of Lesson with the Mayor” was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Artem Tsuran, Chairman of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Natalia Proskurova, heads of education departments of Minsk district administrations, heads of educational institutions, as well as participants of the city competition and young teachers. At the dialogue platform “About the lesson and not only …” topical issues of modern school education were discussed with employees of educational institutions.

“A very interesting audience gathered here, with which we discussed a number of problematic issues, ranging from school uniforms to school informatization. Everyone expressed his opinion, his proposals. We will definitely analyze them and do our best to deal with them as soon as possible. Therefore that the main goal of the school is to train a professional who loves his homeland and does everything to become the most useful citizen for his country,” Vladimir Kukharev said.

The event also saw the awarding of laureates and winners of the city competition of professional excellence “Panorama of Innovative Educational Practices “Academy of the Lesson” in seven nominations, including “Cooperation for Development”, “Time to Test Hypotheses”, “Humanistic Pedagogy in Action”, “Information Crossroads “, “Workshop of thinking”, “Interactivity and innovation” and “Educational event”.

In 2022, 29 teachers of the highest qualification category and methodologists became participants in the city competition. Among the participants of the competition are winners of awards and grants of the Minsk City Executive Committee, winners of city competitions of professional skills of previous years, authors of teaching aids, participants in international scientific and practical conferences and forums, leaders of methodological formations. During the competition, teachers prepared bright public speeches, developed practical materials from their work experience (audio and video presentation files). The most striking competitive task was the open author’s training sessions under the general name “Long-range lesson”. In February alone, more than 1,000 teaching staff of the capital were able to attend such competitive lessons. According to the organizers, the methodological developments and pedagogical findings of the contestants will become an impetus for the further development of the educational practice of metropolitan teachers.-0-
