Kovid adds 1,077 more in Saudi today; 16 deaths

Riyadh ∙ Saudi Arabia today confirmed 1077 new cases, according to the Ministry of Health. 16 deaths were also reported. The number of people who have recovered in the last 24 hours is 906. There are 10,267 active patients in hospitals across the country. Of these, 1562 are in critical condition. The number of critically ill patients has increased by three today compared to the previous day.

This brings the total number of Kovid cases in the country to 464,780, the number of survivors to 446,960 and the number of deaths to 7,553. So far 20,279,006 Kovid tests have been completed in the country, including 75,059 newly conducted Kovid tests. Saudi Arabia has so far received 15,633,787 people who have been vaccinated against measles.

Today, the highest number of patients was reported in Makkah: 348. Mecca leads in number of critically ill patients; 461 people. In Riyadh, 225 new cases have been confirmed. There are also 342 people in the intensive care unit. Other provinces where the disease has been confirmed today are province-wise: Eastern Province 149, Azir 97, Jizan 70, Madinah 69, Al Qasim 40, Najran 21, Tabuk 20, Hail 18, Albaha 11, Northern Province 7 and Al Jawf 2. The number of critically ill patients in the area is as follows: Eastern Province 229, Madinah 137, Azir 130, Jizan 75, Al Qasim 72, Tabuk 33, Hail 28, Najran 26, Albaha 16, Northern Province 9 and Al Jawf 4.
