Kobe Great Man Gaiden ~ Unknown Great Achievement ~ ⑫ Hirao Hachisabu’s Philosophy for Educators Part 2

People, Kobe

For the sake of the world … The respect that Hirao Hachisabu asked for medical treatment

Obsession with the establishment of a hospital
“I want to create a hospital where everyone can receive equal treatment. A hospital for the sick.”
The third period of life trisection theory. With this in mind, Hirao Hachisabu founded Konan Hospital (currently Konan Medical Center) in Kobe in 1934.
The first phase of life trisection theory. Hirai had a hard time graduating from university, but he has been struggling even after becoming a member of society in the second term. He has unfortunately lost his wife to illness twice. Both of them became ill immediately after giving birth and died.
He was pessimistic about holding a suckling baby, and at the same time he was disappointed, saying, “As long as medical facilities are in place …” It’s not hard to imagine.
