Actor Ivan Nestorov has died, the Union of Artists announced on Facebook.

Born on October 22, 1933, he was known for numerous roles in theaters in the country, television theater, cinema and in recent years for roles in the Nikolay Binev Youth Theater. A tireless participant in the club “Artists with silver in their hair” almost until his last moment. We will remember his nobility and high spirit,” his colleagues wrote.
Nestorov was born in the village of Tazha, municipality of Pavel Banya. He grew up in the city of Pavel Banya and for the first time touched the theater in the “Iskra” community center in Kazanlak. He took the acting exams at VITIZ, where he was accepted into the class of Stefan Sarchadjiev, but since he had to miss his military service, upon his return to the Theater Higher School he entered the class of Professor Boyan Danovski.
After graduation, he was assigned to the theater in Silistra, where he made his debut in the play “Every Autumn Evening” by Ivan Peychev. From 1963, he became part of the troupe of the National Theater for Youth, which today is known as the “Nikolay Binev” Youth Theater. He worked there for 43 seasons.
In addition to actively performing on the theater stage, he is also photographed in front of the camera. He participated in series such as “Every Kilometer”, “Captain Petko Voivoda”, “The Adventures of Avakum Zakhov”. He also plays in dozens of films.
The worship before Ivan Nestorov will be on Wednesday, January 21, at 12:30 p.m. in the capital’s “St. Sedmochislenitsi” church.
