In the center of digital education for children “IT-kub.Kanash” of the Ministry of Education of Russia, two summer intensives were held for schoolchildren of different ages – from the 1st to the 10th grade. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Chuvash Republic.
Classes were held in several areas: “Scratch Programming”, “Programming Robots”, “Intel® AI for Youth” Artificial Intelligence Technologies for Everyone “,” Fundamentals of Information Security “,” System Administration “.
The center also collaborated with schools in the city of Kanash and the Kanash region: workshops and events for acquaintance with IT were held for more than 500 schoolchildren attending the summer school camp.
The Center for Digital Education “IT-Kub.Kanash” was opened in 2019 as part of the regional project “Digital Educational Environment” of the national project “Education”. More than 42 million rubles were spent on the purchase of modern high-tech equipment and overhaul of the center. The center is equipped with computers, laptops, virtual and augmented reality helmets, sets of basic and industrial robotics, and specialized equipment.
