This declaration, finalized yesterday afternoon, marks the culmination of an agreement among key foundations adhering to the “Parasocial Pact of consultation and vote” established on November 11, 2024. These foundations include San Paolo Compagnia, Cariplo Foundation, CR Firenze, Padua and Rovigo, CR Bologna, and Cr Cuneo.

The proposed list, comprising nine men and eight women, will be formally presented at the Intesa Sanpaolo assembly scheduled for April 29th. The selection process emphasized a balanced composition, continuity, high-caliber individuals, diversity, and the integration of new strategic skills, professionalism, and unique perspectives.

Merlo’s commitment extends to the social sector, where she leads the Cuneo Hospital Foundation.

Donatella Busso: Academic and Financial Expertise

Donatella Busso, 51, a native of Savigliano and residing in Moncalvo d’Asti, is a Professor of Business Economics at the University of Turin and an “Affiliate Professor” at ESCP Business School Europe. As a chartered accountant and business consultant,she specializes in budget analysis,company valuation,financial planning,and risk assessment. Busso also serves as an self-reliant administrator and auditor in various companies and has authored numerous publications on accounting principles and governance.

Maura Campra: Auditing and academic Prowess

Maura campra, 64, currently serves as the President of the Board of Statutory Auditors of the Cr asti Bank.A chartered accountant and professor of business economics at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Campra also holds positions in the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, the Scientific Committee of the Piedmont Higher Education School and Val d’Aosta, and the board of the Picatti Milanese Foundation of Turin. Her extensive experience includes serving as an auditor for Enel Spa, Primindustrie, and Pirelli.
