in a concert story

SACRED – Going to the Poet is like entering a story. Leafing through the pages of an illustrated book, of those that were done once upon a time, and being enchanted by a figure, an image, a vision. And from that vision you will in turn be recalled by a music. The magic of the concerts at the Osteria Al Poeta in San Martino del Carso (via Zona Sacra) returns again this summer with a calendar being defined but which already has dates to pin down on the agenda!

The first of this, season opening on Saturday 12 June, is entrusted to Locomotive Quartet of Clarissa Durizzotto, Giorgio Pacorig, Marco Lasic ed Alessandro Turchet: the duo already protagonist at Cormons’ Jazz & Wine of Peace of two editions ago is now developing into a quartet, amplifying the sounds of the matrix with a disruptive rhythm.

The following Saturday (June 19) it was the turn of another duo, who remained so, “at home” or the guitars of Francesco Bragagnini e Marko Čepak who aim to interpret standards and originals of the jazz repertoire with a particular predilection for contemporary compositions and always the search for a constant dialogue.

From jazz to blues to swing, up to songwriting: in the shadow of the centenary mulberry on June 26th the sharp sounds of Voodoo Pills and in July on the calendar i New Hard Swing e Matteo Della Schiava, among the darlings of the “poetic public”. In the same month dates to be fixed but already confirmed with old friends Daniele D’Agaro, Claudio Cojaniz e Marc abrams.

Key appointment to mark on the agenda for August 21st, stage of the tour of Maistah Africa, super collective afro-jazz self-styled never-been-in-Africa about to leave for the jazz festival of Sant’Anna Arresi in Sardinia in September. The band all made in FVG (where in addition to Durizotto and Pacorig we find among others the winds of Mirko Cisilino e Gabriele Cancelli and the percussion of Alessandro Mansutti e Marco D’Orlando) and whose traces for some seasons have passed with a certain assiduity on the frequencies of the prestigious Rai Radio 3 transmission Battiti, is a guarantee of a scream evening … to the battle cry of “de balombo!”
