The coffee experience reaches new frontiers thanks to Horizon, the new and surprising recipe offered exclusively at illy Caffè in Italy and in the world.
Prepared with two alternating layers of enveloping cream, soft and shiny, obtained by mixing latte skim cream, acacia honey and blue spirulina powder, Orizzonte represents a new taste experience, in the name of innovation and originality. The Orizzonte recipe has in fact been treated in detail by theIlly coffee university to visually reproduce the apparent line that separates the earth from the sky: by pouring the coffee into the glass cup containing the cream, you will create a sort of horizon that stands out against the “sky” given by the froth of milk and spirulina. In fact, the spirulina algae gives the recipe a surprising blue color, without altering its flavor.
An artistic recipe, in which each consumer can create with their own touch and with the unmistakable 100% Arabica illy blend, a personal horizon to look at with hope and trust in these times of great uncertainty. Much more than just a coffee: a real message of optimism and serenity.
