It was the horrible moment when a young man was assaulted and brutally attacked by a gang in Co Dublin.

The shocking incident occurred on the Le Fanu road in Ballyfermot.

Pictures show a teenager waiting around the corner from California Hills Park shortly before the attack, reports Dublin Live.

He then turns around and walks down a small lane between a house and the park.

Shortly after, a young man in a white shirt walks towards the entrance of the lane before being brutally jumped by three boys.

Two of the boys kick him while he is on the ground while the third can be seen ripping items from his pocket.

The sequence then ends with the three of them fleeing with one holding the stolen objects while the boy in the white shirt is left on the side of the road.

A garda spokesperson said that the gardai had no report on the incident.
