No parties, no meetings, no Rose Monday procession ?? The Karnevalsgesellschaft (KG) Herdorf is also affected by the pandemic. But the volunteers do not let themselves get down. Now a special edition of the carnival magazine appears, which should go down in the city’s history.
Herdorf. Plenty of photo collages in the special edition of the Narrenspiegel should also show the carnivalists in the fancy session: KG Herdorf is present despite the Corona crisis. Events could and cannot take place. But: In the meantime it was possible to train the dance corps, of course in compliance with the protective regulations? often outside in the fresh air or with masks in ventilated halls. Of course, this is appropriately prepared for the reader.
Another focus: the internet video that went viral, in which cashier Klaus-Peter Beel and chairman Thomas Otterbach had themselves recorded with a wistful text. The carnival magazine appears annually with an edition of 1,500 pieces, formerly in black and white, now in color.
The team around press officer Michael Beel is always open to stories, missteps and mishaps from the town. Beel then mostly creates rhymes from them, which are published in the magazine. In this special year the KG has developed a special edition in cooperation with the DJK Herdorf and the Carnival Friends Dermbach. As usual, the publication is supported by advertisements from local companies, which the KG thanks for their support.
The 52-page booklet is available at the earliest from January 2nd and no later than January 4th for three euros at the following advance booking offices: Sonnenapotheke Otterbach, Lotto and tobacco goods Katja Herz, Papershop Sabine Schütz, Reumann self-service petrol station and the Hoffmann beverage store.
