Police searching for missing Palo Alto man with dementia

SAN MATEO – Authorities are searching for a 80-year-old Palo Alto man with dementia.

Peihuang Weng was last seen leaving his family home on the 4000 block of Wilkie Way just before 11 a.m. to Mitchell Park Library, according to Palo Alto police.

Weng is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 115 pounds, with brown eyes and black and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball hat, gray jacket, dark green pants and brown shoes.

Weng wears a name tag around his neck. Police said he speaks Chinese and some English.

Police are asking anyone who sees Weng to call 911
