Incurable deadly diseases and adherence to bad habits take fewer lives than the unexpected factor scientists have mentioned.
Experts in the course of the experiment discovered that a sedentary lifestyle and a lack of active physical activity often leads to death than the most dangerous incurable diseases.
Scientists have been testing physical training for more than 120 thousand people for 23 years. Based on the collected data, the specialists analyzed the mortality rates among the subjects, examined their medical history and assessed their physical fitness.
Research leader Wael Jaber stated that the study showed shocking results. Volunteers who do not practice sports at all and lead a sedentary lifestyle run an increased risk of premature death. The indicator for increased risk is thus 500%. This result is several times higher than the risk of killing tobacco, alcoholism, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and other diseases.
Scientists' findings are disappointing, namely laziness, which caused a person to give up his physical activity and cause the greatest number of premature deaths.
