BUNCOMBE Co., N.C. (WSPA) – MPs are looking for an elderly woman with dementia whose car broke down a Swannanoa road.

The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office is looking for Addilaye Florence, 85 years old.

MPs say Florence was driving from Fayetteville when her car broke down in the 70s near Warren Wilson Road.

A family member with Florence was found in the nearby woods around 3:30 am on Tuesday.

Aaron Sarver, spokesman for the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, said the relative was not seriously injured. They were taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Meanwhile, the search continues for Florence.

It is described as 5 feet 5 inches high, around 110 pounds and has medium-long black hair with red shades.

MEPs say Florence has dementia and diabetes.

His SUV has been recovered.
