Health registers 8 thousand recent cases of COVID; recognizes 277 thousand deaths

The Ministry of Health registered 8,828 recent cases of COVID-19, so there is a cumulative 3 million 664 thousand 223 people who have become ill from the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.

However, it estimates that only 63,660 (1.6%) are active cases due to symptoms in recent days.

This, despite the fact that the trend in COVID cases decreased by 22%, between weeks 36 and 37 of the year.

In addition, it added 533 more deaths, so the authorities recognize, so far, 277 thousand 505 deaths from the disease.

101 million vaccines against COVID

In Mexico, 101 million 190 thousand 484 vaccines against the virus have been applied; 673,520 used this September 29.

The doses applied so far correspond to 63 million 913 thousand 428 people immunized with at least one vaccine, 71% of the adult population in Mexico.

However, only 71% have the complete vaccination scheme against COVID.
