Thompson succeeds Adrian Robinson, who has been appointed Head of Global Specialization. She will report to A. Morris “Mo” Tooker, President of Medium and Large Commercial Insurance.

Thompson, named after job insurance 2016 Standing List Women have been with The Hartford since 2005 in increasingly responsible roles, most recently as president of the West Division of The Hartford, based in California. Before joining The Hartford, Thompson held various finance positions at General Electric. He received his BA from Boston College.
