Guizhou Government Scholarships for Southeast Asian Students in China, Students from Southeast Asia are invited to apply for Guizhou Government Scholarship funded by the Guizhou Government and administered by the Guizhou Provincial Ministry of Education (GPDE). These scholarships are available for PhD, Masters, Bachelors, Vocational Education, and General Studies programs

The aim of the scholarships is to provide Southeast Asian students with the opportunity to further their studies and achieve their career dreams.

Guizhou Government Scholarship supports 4 programs: Guizhou University Program, Laos-Guizhou Scholarship, Guizhou Government Scholarship for Southeast Asia 2022 and Guizhou China-ASEAN Maritime Silk Road Scholarship.

Course level: These scholarships are available for PhD, Masters, Bachelors, Vocational Education, and General Studies programs.

Field of study: These scholarships are awarded in the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: These scholarships cover the following:

  • The full scholarships cover the tuition, on-campus dorm accommodation, comprehensive health insurance and protection system, etc., and the partial scholarships provide the specific level of reward.

Eligibility:The following criteria must be met for applicants to be eligible for these scholarships:

  • Applicants must be citizens of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, hold a foreign passport, be in good health and friendly to China, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, and follow school rules and regulations. In addition, excellent academic performance and above-average quality are expected from the applicants.
  • Applicants must have a master’s degree under the age of 45 and have excellent academic record when applying for doctoral programs.
  • Applicants applying for master’s programs must have a bachelor’s degree under the age of 35 and excellent scientific,

  • The language level depends on the receiving universities. English-teaching majors could lower Chinese language entry requirements.
  • The applicant who is already supported by Chinese Government Scholarships is not eligible for a Guizhou Government Scholarship.

How to apply: Applicants can apply online.

  • The applicant who is already supported by Chinese Government Scholarships is not eligible for a Guizhou Government Scholarship.

  • Documents in a language other than Chinese or English must be attached with a translation in Chinese or English.
