A Second Chance to Witness Football History

Following a successful debut at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo in February, the E-Land Museum has launched its highly anticipated “great Football Athletes” exhibition at Lotte Mall Gimpo Airport. The exhibition opened its doors on May 1st,drawing considerable crowds eager to immerse themselves in the world of football legends.

Star Power and Special Appearances

The opening day was marked by enthusiastic attendance and a special lecture by commentator Lim hyung-chul, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.Visitors can expect to see a curated collection of authentic items, including jerseys worn by some of the sport’s most celebrated figures and replicas of prestigious championship trophies.

A Journey Through Football’s defining Moments

The exhibition is thoughtfully divided into six thematic zones, each offering a unique perspective on the sport’s rich history:

• Taegeuk Warriors: Celebrating South Korean football heroes.
• Brazil: Showcasing the flair and passion of Brazilian football.
• The Gorgeous Game: Exploring the artistry and elegance of the sport.
• The Champions: Honoring teams and players who have reached the pinnacle of success.
• Free Kick Challenge: An interactive zone dedicated to the set-piece mastery.
• The GOAT: A tribute to the greatest of all time.

In total, over 100 authentic items are on display, providing an unparalleled glimpse into the careers of football icons.

Iconic Artifacts on Display

Among the highlights of the exhibition is a replica of the Jules Rimet Trophy, awarded to the winners of the 1970 World Cup. Furthermore, the exhibition features match-worn jerseys and boots from legendary players such as Pelé, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, park Ji-sung, and Son Heung-min, bridging the gap between past and present generations of footballing talent.
