Detroit (dpa) – US golfer Bryson DeChambeau won the fourth PGA tournament in Detroit after the Corona break. The 26-year-old prevailed in the Rocket Mortgage Classic with a total result of 265 hits against his compatriots Matthew Wolff (268) and Kevin Kisner (270).
For DeChambeau, who has gained a lot of muscle in the past few weeks and thus increased his teeing distances, it was the sixth tournament victory on the US tour.
“I wanted to show people that if you work hard enough, do your best and do everything you have, you can do great things. I did it,” said DeChambeau.
Spectators were not allowed to enter the $ 7.5 million tournament in Michigan.
