Gardai appeals to the mysterious van noticed just after a “especially poor” accident

Gardai has submitted an appeal on a mysterious pink van that was spotted after a “specifically negative” accident in Kilkenny on Sunday evening.

A male in his fifties was critically hurt in a significant theft at a household on Previous Golfing Back links Highway, Newpark, in the north of the city.

Law enforcement imagine a “tiny crimson van” was concerned in the theft and requested associates of the general public who ended up in the location among 7pm and midnight to test the dashcam footage.

They appealed to any one traveling on the Ring Street or Johnswell Highway on Sunday night, November 21, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to make contact with Kilkenny Garda Station.

The male was assaulted in the class of the theft and was taken from the scene of the incident and treated at St Luke’s Clinic for cure of his accidents.

Officers claimed that a auto was impounded through the theft.

Speaking to the nearby radio station KCLR, Sergeant Peter McConnon reported: “[We are] reiterating our enchantment in relation to any facts on this incident, a specially bad incident in which a person was assaulted in the course of a Sunday night theft on Golfing Hyperlinks Road.

“We believe that a small red van may perhaps have been included in this incident, we are looking for a journey course from the scene, Golfing Hyperlinks Road, for this van.

“We feel he may have built his way up the Ring Road and traveled the Ring Road, so any one with dashcam footage traveling on the Ring Highway or Johnswell Highway on Sunday evenings whenever concerning 7pm and midnight the Gardaí in Kilkenny who are investigating this I would like to hear from them. “
