On Sunday, the concert given free of charge by the Cant’on Chant’ choirs from Ronsenac and Trait d’Union in the Dordogne, at the Saint-Maurice de Fouquebrune church, was a great success. Organized jointly by the Villebois-Lavalette Red Cross and the municipality of Fouquebrune, it brought together around a hundred spectators who came to show their support for the local branch for its various social actions and its intervention, in particular at the Gamby nursing home. It was an exceptional afternoon, the talented singers, gathered around their choirmaster, Alexandre Southegate, offered a tour of songs visiting the Catalan, Chilean, English, Czech, Cypriot, etc. repertoire. At the end of the concert, on the forecourt of the church, spectators and singers discussed at length over a snack served by volunteers from the Villebois Red Cross.
