Not all the details of the entire operation have been settled yet, there are still some discrepancies between the parties – mainly regarding the timing of the next points – but the talks are slowly moving forward and there is still a chance for a positive conclusion.
A meeting of the company’s shareholders is scheduled for August 4, during which the company recapitalization is to be carried out. Until then, all details of the contract must be completed, because without additional funds, Korona will have to declare bankruptcy. Such a scenario can still not be ruled out, but there is a light in the tunnel, which starts to glow more and more.
For now, the team of Maciej Bartoszek is getting ready for the 1st league games. Although the contract of the coach and training staff with Korona ends on August 1, the 43-year-old announces that he will continue to conduct classes as usual. – We function as if everything was normal – says Bartoszek.
Although the club’s management has tightly tied hands due to the current situation, negotiations are also being conducted with players who would strengthen the team. It is true that, due to the difficult financial situation, expenses will have to be planned carefully, but work on creating the budget is also ongoing. In Kielce, however, no one will complain if the club functions with a slightly smaller scale, but will still be present in the first league.
The next days will be crucial for Korona. If we manage to successfully take over the shares from the Germans, a new chapter in the history of the Golden-Bloods will begin.
