Foods to Stop Weight Gain | Eat This, Not That!

by Archynetys Health Desk

Researchers monitored mice fed a high-fat diet for eight weeks. Some of the mice were given supplements containing Turicibacter, while others did not receive any supplements. At the end of the study, it was seen that the body weight of the mice that did not receive the supplement increased by approximately 25 percent. In contrast, the weight gain in mice given Turicibacter was limited to approximately 10 percent.

The results could pave the way for new methods to prevent weight gain in humans, the researchers said. However, it was noted that supplements containing Turicibacter are not yet widely available.
