By unveiling the complete program of the Bout du Monde festival, Quai Ouest also unveils the concerts that will take place on the peninsula, upstream, in the new Crozonnaise hall of Amethyst, but also in Notre-Dame-de-Rocamadour, and the former Landévennec abbey.
On Tuesday August 3, Améthyste will welcome Rodolphe Burger, Erik Marchand and Mehdi Haddab, for a fusion of rock, blues and traditional Breton singing. “Glück Auf! ”(Bonne Chance!) Is the motto of the miners of Sainte-Marie-Aux-Mines, but it is also the title of their new album which will be released at the end of August. Album in which their repertoire once again illustrates the kinship between blues and traditional music, boosted by the energy of a rock rhythm.
On Wednesday August 4 at Notre-Dame de Rocamadour and Thursday August 5 in the ruins of the former Landévennec abbey, the public will be able to listen to the Swede Peter von Poehl, who is releasing his new album in June. The opportunity for the artist to perform solo in intimate places, his voice placed on his keyboard or his guitar.
Finally, during the week of the festival, the brass bands will resound in the different villages (date and times to come), notably with Out of Nola, Rennes musicians with a very brassy groove, and General Strike, a jazz and funk brass band.
