Fall in key stock market indicators at the end of the week

The key indicators of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) ended the week with declines at the end of the trading day of this Friday, May 28, 2021.

The BRVM 10 index (the stock market’s 10 flagship index) fell 0.84% ​​to 132.62 points from 133.74 points the day before. The BRVM Composite Index (the general stock market index) also fell 0.48% to 156.72 points from 157.47 points previously.

The total value of transactions is also down, from 1.917 billion FCFA the day before to 221.153 million FCFA at the end of the trading day of this Friday, May 28, 2021.

As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it stood at CFAF 4,716.464 billion against CFAF 4,738.907 billion the day before, ie a decline of CFAF 22.443 billion. As for the bond market, it amounted to 6,535.566 billion FCFA against 6,546.270 billion FCFA the day before, a decrease of 10.704 billion FCFA.
