Former WWE Wrestler Saurav Gurjar Warns Ranveer Allahbadia Over Controversial Remarks

Former WWE wrestler Saurav Gurjar, known professionally as Sanga, has issued a stern warning to podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. Gurjar’s concern stems from Allahbadia’s controversial remarks on the YouTube show India’s Got Latent.

Gurjar’s Warning and Call for Action

In a video posted on X, Gurjar firmly stated that Ranveer’s actions cannot be forgiven. He urged authorities to take strict legal action against Allahbadia.

“Whatever he did on the show, he cannot be forgiven for that. If we do not take action against him for his behavior, then more people like him will say similar things. People like him have crossed all limits. We should take legal action against people like him who are spoiling our society and religion by saying such things, so that the next generation can be saved. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean that you can say anything…”

Gurjar further emphasized his stance, stating that if he encounters Allahbadia, no one—not even his security—could protect him.

“I don’t want to use foul language. But if I meet him anywhere in Mumbai… no one, including his security, can save him from me for what he said on the show,”

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Remarks and Fallout

Allahbadia, who has gained popularity on YouTube through his BeerBiceps channel, found himself in the middle of controversy after comments made during comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, India’s Got Latent, were deemed offensive. At least two FIRs have been registered against both Allahbadia and Raina—one in Assam and another in Mumbai.

A FIR was registered in Guwahati by a local resident on Monday, accusing the duo of promoting obscenity in a publicly accessible online show.

In addition to Allahbadia and Raina, others named in the Assam FIR are Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija.

Allahbadia’s Public Apology

Earlier in the week, Ranveer Allahbadia addressed the controversy with a public apology, acknowledging his poor judgement.

“I apologize for my lack of judgement while making the joke. I understand the seriousness of the situation and the hurt it has caused. I take full responsibility and will ensure that such a situation does not happen in the future,”

Samay Raina’s Response

In light of the controversy, comedian Samay Raina removed all episodes of his show from his YouTube channel. He expressed his willingness to cooperate with investigative agencies.

“Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you,”

Conclusion

The incident highlights the need for responsible use of social media platforms and the potential consequences of offensive content. Both notorious figures have responded to the controversy, with Allahbadia offering a public apology, and Raina removing the show from his channel.

As society grapples with the balance between free expression and sensitivity, figures like Saurav Gurjar remind us of the importance of taking accountability for our words and actions.
