It’s bad news for fans of the amazing Netflix series. Mindhunter: The cast has been officially released from their contracts.
That does not mean that they have been expelled from the program, hoping for a new look for the third season; It only means that they are allowed to do another job because one of the program’s executive producers, David Fincher, is busy.
A Netflix spokesman told Deadline: “David is focused on directing his first Netflix movie Mank and when producing the second season of Love, death and robots.
“You can visit again Mindhunter again in the future, but in the meantime I felt it was not fair for the actors to prevent them from looking for another job while he was exploring his own work. “
So it looks like the highly anticipated third season of Mindhunter is waiting until further notice.
While there has been no confirmation that we will even have a third season, the second installment left us gagged by more than FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench.
They were making their way through the murders of children in Atlanta and we are getting closer to see who the serial killer has been announced in the last two seasons.
But it seems that we will have to hold our collective breaths until Fincher takes over his other projects.
