Disney has released the full trailer for The Lion King, offering our first look at Scar and THAT Stampede.
The spectacular trailer is our best look at the Jon Favreau remake which is not live-action, but a continuation of the photo-realistic CGI he used on The jungle book.
Chiwetel Ejiofor seems to have also nailed Scar's voice, stating chilling: "Life is not fair, is my little friend? While some are born to feast, others spend their lives in the dark, begging for leftovers."
There will be a lot of shots in the trailer that will be familiar to fans of the original, including the stampede that leads to heartbreak for Simba and the growing transition with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa.
And if you wait until after the title, you'll also get a taste of Timon and Pumbaa (now voiced by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen) who sings "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
What we haven't heard yet is that of Donald Glover or Beyoncé Knowles-Carter on central characters like Simba and Nala.
We have been promised that the remake will not be a "shot by stroke" remake.
"The Lion King it's a revered and loved film, so you'd better revere and love those parts that the public wants. But there are things in the film that will be new. [And] is a new form of film production, "Disney producer Sean Bailey promised.
The Lion King was released on 19 July.
