The legend of hell in a cell The live show of Mick Foley is unmissable

Mick Foley will be the special guest referee when Braun Strowman will challenge the Roman Reign Universal Champion at the WWE Hell in a Cell.

And immediately after the main event of the pay-per-view tonight, the documentary Mick Foley: 20 Years in Hell premiered on WWE Network.

Two weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting the WWE Hall of Famer in a comedy club in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.

This was at the end of his wonderful live one-man, on which this evening's documentary transmission, 20 Years of Hell, is based.

The 53-year-old will bring this experience to the UK at the end of November and even if you are a wrestling enthusiast, it is a show you should do your best to participate.

As anyone who has seen him do an interview will know, the former WWE champion is equipped with a microphone and is an expert in conquering a public by voice.

He toured the world for several years performing in his music shows since he retired from the square circle and I had the pleasure of seeing him speak on two different occasions. While it was brilliant the first time, the practice really makes it perfect, since it was exceptional in this performance.

The meat and potatoes of this current show revolve around bringing the listener into the infamous Inferno in a Cell match against The Undertaker, from King of the Ring 1998.

The night I attended, Foley had the entire audience exhausted in the palm of his hand, as well as the tears of laughter, as he remembered every second of the match and his thoughts throughout the affair, the parties when he was aware less!

One of my favorite moments was when he said he woke up because he was thrown out and wondered how Terry Funk's training shoes came to the ring. Those of you who have seen the game will understand this particular reference, while his great friend rushes to his aid.

The show lasted about 1 hour and 10 minutes, before Foley spent about half an hour answering questions from the public about his life and career. I asked Foley if he wanted to sign my arm to add to my collection of tattoos related to wrestling and agreed to do so. He invited me to meet him after the show, where he autographed my shoulder, posed for a photo and chatted with me for a few minutes.

I asked Foley if he expected to appear regularly on WWE television in any future storyline. He told me he did not think it would be the case, because once he was fired as general manager Raw, there's nothing else he could do on television.

So you can imagine my surprise when, just four nights later, it was announced that Foley would make an appearance in the Raw episode on the following Monday.

I expected him to appear on the show as one of the many legends that commented on the game between Triple H and The Undertaker booked for the Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia on October 6th. I thought that his appearance would be similar to that Shawn Michaels did and would offer some thoughts on the next game, especially considering the story of Foley with both HHH and Taker.

Fans were excited to see Raw's Foley live again, for the first time in 18 months, and my excitement increased when I realized that he had not only introduced himself to beat The Game against The Phenom.

Foley, however, interrupted Elias and announced that he was indeed the special guest referee of the match for the Universal Championship, between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns inside Hell in a Cell himself.

Foley not only played great when he shot and shouted "bang bang", but he looks better than he has for years. I had noticed during his recent show. Now he walks without limping and no longer seems that every movement is a struggle.

When I previously attended one of his shows in 2014, he sat for the entire show, after going on stage. After a hip replacement last year [and working with DDP Yoga creator Diamond Dallas Page] Foley was able to support the entire show this time and was no longer suffering.

I told him I was happy to see him so beautiful and visibly thinner and he told me he had lost more than 100 pounds in the last two years, which also helps his mobility. Maybe he could even become physically involved in the race tonight.

Foley has shown he still has much to offer at the WWE Universe and based on the reaction of the crowd on Raw, The Hardcore Legend clearly remains a favorite among older and younger wrestling fans.

I hope tonight is not a unique appearance and we see that Foley will be involved in other WWE TV shows in the future, but in the meantime, do not miss the opportunity to see the great man live.

Mick Foley will arrive in the UK this November for two live shows hosted by WWE NXT superstar in the UK, Flash Morgan Webster.

Visit the BAWA Healthcare & Leisure Center in Bristol on November 29 and The Reddings Suite in Birmingham on November 30th.
