Donald Trump tried to honor Tuesday's National National Prisoner of War Recognition Day, but Meghan McCain was not impressed.
Trump has released a tweet in honor of "tAmericans captured and imprisoned by foreign powers while carrying out their duties to defend this great nation ".
On the occasion of the National Prisoner of War Recognition Day, we honor Americans captured and imprisoned by foreign powers while performing their tasks to defend this great nation … https: //t.co/dEVfRo5uy7

What is the problem with this image? Well, there shouldn't be one. This is the kind of ceremonial proclamation that for the other presidents would be a part of the non-controversial and unrestrained work.
However, other presidents have not publicly wiped out former prisoners of war as Trump did in 2015 when he dismissed John McCain's war record, saying, "He's a war hero because he's been captured. I like people who haven't been captured . "
No wonder the daughter of the late senator and co-host of "The View" was skeptical about the tweet.
The hypocrisy of Trump has not gone unnoticed even by other Twitter users.
No. Sorry. This BULLSHIT cannot be vomited. Not after what you said #JohnMcCain. Remember it? The war hero you said was not a war hero because he was "captured?" Do you remember saying "just like people who weren't caught?" Save us your false holiness … #Briscola

I thought you liked the heroes who weren't caught.

I think maybe the guy who said he liked people who weren't caught and mocked John McCain all the possibilities he had might want to make one, what they say there, homeslice, you can do it, Generalissimo Bone Spurs

He didn't write that tweet – no exclamation marks.

@realDonaldTrump, these are your words: "He is not a war hero, he is a war hero because he was captured, I like people who have not been captured". Today you have nothing to say about prisoners of war, except to apologize to them, including John McCain and his family.

sorry, I like people who haven't dodged the project because their fathers have bribed a doctor to falsify a medical report and give them bone spurs as an excuse
