Rod Rosenstein, the official Justice Department number two is thinking of staying "a little longer". Rosenstein, who oversaw the Mueller probe until William Barr was confirmed as attorney general, planned to leave in March. However, he decided to postpone his resignation.

The search warrant also reveals that Special Adviser Robert Mueller started collecting Cohen's e-mails in July 2017. This is almost a year before the raid on Cohen's office and only a few weeks after the appointment of Mueller as special adviser.
