Billie Eilish is ready to perform Bond’s newest song, changing her “Bad Guy” to a “Bond Guy” in There is no time to die.
The Grammy Award nominated artist has written the main song of the new James Bond movie with her older brother and frequent collaborator Finneas. She will become the youngest artist in history to write and record a song for a Bond movie, joining artists like Adele, Madonna and Tina Turner.
“It feels crazy to be part of this in every way,” Eilish said in a press release.
“Writing the main song for a Bond movie is something we have been dreaming of all our lives,” Finneas added. It’s great that they can update these very specific dreams.
Eilish rose to fame on the SoundCloud music platform. The 18-year-old singer and songwriter is ready for six Grammy Awards this year, including Best New Artist and Record of the Year. She is known for her gothic pop sound and her single “Bad Guy” usurped “Old Town Road” on top of the Billboard 100.
The last Bond movie will be Daniel Craig’s last as 007, although he may be passing his nickname to Captain MarvelIt’s Lashana Lynch. In No time to dieBond left active duty at the beginning of the movie, retiring to Jamaica, immediately retired to action when an old CIA friend appears at his door.
Returning to the cast are Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Jeffrey Wright as CIA officer Felix Leiter and Lea Seydoux, who returns as her. Spectrum character Dr. Madeleine Swann, daughter of the mysterious character of Mr. White.
No time to die it leaves on April 2 in the United Kingdom and on April 10 in the USA. UU.
