ANT McPartlin agreed to give his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong 36 million euros in a massive divorce settlement, more than half of his fortune of 58 million euros.
The 44-year-old ITV star resolved his bitter legal battle with Strictly’s makeup artist, 43, in a face-to-face meeting in London on Tuesday.
It is one of the biggest celebrity divorce agreements in British history.
A source close to both sides said: “Both decided they wanted it resolved.”
It is said that Ant is “delighted” after agreeing to give Lisa more than half of her fortune of 58 million euros.
It will also maintain the former marriage house of 5.8 million euros for the couple in West London.
But the couple agreed to share the permanent custody of their beloved Labrador Hurley, since they could not live without him.
Lisa is not expected to be entitled to future earnings from the favorite ITV as part of the agreement.
It is believed that neither party has signed a confidentiality agreement.
The agreement, one of the most important in the history of divorce among celebrities, was reached at a face-to-face meeting in London this week.
Eliminates the risk of a prolonged judicial battle, which could have seen details of its disorderly rupture obtaining a public broadcast.
A source close to both sides said: “Ant and Lisa agreed to reach an agreement and sign their divorce agreement during a productive and civil meeting on Tuesday.
“Ant made a very generous agreement that turns out to be more than half of everything he has.
“He is delighted because it means that he can leave behind what has been a very difficult chapter in his life and move on.
“For Lisa, the beginning of a new decade gave her a fresh mindset. It has been hard but it’s time to move on.
“Both decided that they wanted it resolved.
“There was no acrimony and they both left happy.”
Both sides attended the crunchy negotiations in central London with their lawyers, and the talks were much better than expected.
The informant continued: “The meeting was previously arranged.
“Nobody expected it to be solved so easily because it has rushed to the court.
“It will take a few weeks to tie up all loose ends and an absolute decree will be issued in a few weeks.
“But it is a done deal. Ant has done the right thing and given him more than people often agree to give to move forward.
“Neither of us could continue living with something so toxic about them.”
The couple’s priority will now be the welfare of their dog Chocolate Labrador Hurley.
The source said: “Neither could live without Hurley, so they agreed to share custody.
“Your well-being will now be your main concern.”
Ant and Lisa, who married in 2006, separated in January 2018, five months after he left the rehabilitation.
The star had been struggling with a two-year addiction to super strong painkillers, as a result of a knee operation, and a battle with alcohol.
Lisa was granted a 30-second decree in October 2018, but the process came to a standstill last March after she refused to sign a confidentiality agreement.
The couple ran the risk of a public confrontation in court after Lisa rejected a settlement offer last November.
The Sun also revealed in June 2018 that Ant had found love again with his personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, 43.
She had supported him after his arrest for driving while intoxicated in March of that year, for which he was fined € 100,000 and was banned for 20 months. In August, he moved to Ant’s new 7 million euro house in southwest London.
He also joined him in Australia before Christmas for his return to I am a celebrity with co-host Declan Donnelly, 44.
Ant praised his new love in an exclusive interview at The Sun and said: “She has been my rock.
“She is a beautiful soul … She is the most wonderful true woman.
“We were going through the turmoil. It was the last thing in any of our minds to enter into a relationship.
But there we were and we thought, “This felt so good, why deny it”?
Meanwhile, Lisa suffered more anguish last May when her father Derek died after a 71-year-old battle against cancer.
The separated couple has also been fighting for Hurley’s custody, with Lisa posting a selfie with him on Monday.
The Instagram snapshot saw her lick her dog’s face, with the caption: “Really Hurls !!! …… Haha …. #pawonhead # tongueineyeball # Hurleywash …”
Ant has also talked about his link with the stray dog, telling The Sun: “There is a loyalty and a love and a company with Hurley that you can’t describe.”
He insisted: “Hurley’s well-being comes first and we both love him very much. That’s how it really is.”
Both can celebrate
Few divorces among celebrities have caused this type of pain and anguish.
But that is why today I celebrate the maturity and clarity that Ant and Lisa show.
From what they told me, their face-to-face meeting on Tuesday was long but friendly and courteous.
Both parties recognized the desire to move forward for the sake of their own lives.
Of course, it was inordinate to give up the right to see his beloved dog Hurley. Then a sensible decision was agreed to share custody.
Ant has given up a lot.
One could argue that it is a devastating financial blow that will make it worth less than half of its co-host and best friend, Declan Donnelly.
But after having closely followed Ant’s recovery in the past two years, I can tell you that this agreement means much more than how much is in your bank account. He wants the opportunity for a new beginning.
He has addressed the root causes of his problems.
He is sober. He has bravely recognized how badly he left his life out of control. And he has found a new woman who has become his rock.
This agreement gives him the confidence that he will not have a judicial battle of terror over him at the beginning of a new decade.
Both sides were prepared for the release of epic mud, but fortunately they realized that it was simply not worth it.
Lisa is a very successful person in her own right, one of the best makeup artists in the country who is very loved in the industry.
Now she is also one of the richest women in the country.

The divorce agreement of MADONNA and Guy Ritchie in 2008 is believed to be the highest ever seen in a UK court involving a celebrity couple.
Material Girl representatives told how Lock Stock director Guy received between £ 50 million and £ 60 million.
He was also awarded his five-story field stack of £ 12 million in Wiltshire.
Guy issued a statement later stating that the figures were not accurate.
But he organized his 2015 wedding with Jacqui Ainsley on the country property.
Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki kept their divorce settlement figures secret last year.
But his son Angelo’s father was expected to claim a portion of his fortune of £ 150 million.
The singer had bought Simon a house in Beverly Hills. Last May he also bought the house of £ 8.25 million next door so that they were both close to his son.
Paul McCartney’s divorce from Heather Mills in 2008 saw the former prize model with £ 24.3 million.
She was looking for more than her then fortune of £ 400 million, which she offered for £ 125 million, while Paul thought that £ 15.8 million was fair.
As part of his agreement, Macca would pay the school fees of £ 35,000 a year from his daughter Beatrice, who was four years old at the time.
Heather was also granted assets of £ 7.8 million plus a lump sum of £ 16.5 million.
