Reported earlier, Behnken and Hurley landed safely on Saturday (1/8) off the coast of Pensacola, Florida, USA. The success of the Dragon Dragon landing carved a lot of new history on Uncle Sam’s domestic space flight.
“Today we are truly making history. We are entering a new era of human space,” said Jim Bridenstein, NASA Administrator
Meanwhile, Gwynne Shotwell, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpaceX called it an ‘extraordinary mission’.
“This is really just the beginning,” he said. “We embarked on a journey that regularly took people to and from low Earth orbits, then to the moon and finally to Mars.”
Yes, this is the last Crew Dragon trial flight. After SpaceX the company was founded Elon Musk receiving NASA certification, future flights will be a regular mission to bring astronauts to the ISS.
