The VI General Vocational Training Plan 2021-2025 of Castilla y León includes among its actions the promotion of knowledge in foreign languages of FP students. Thus, in order to advance linguistic diversity, the Ministry of Education develops, on an experimental basis, bilingual education projects in public schools.
Through the initiative published today by the department headed by Rocío Lucas in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León (Bocyl), 29 Community centers that provide Vocational Training will complement the training of their students to improve communication skills in another language.
Likewise, the cycles will be offered with two alternative options: una linked to the bilingual project and another that will be taught without modifications with respect to what is established in the curriculum. Admitted students may choose to join the option linked to the bilingual project until the time the teaching begins.
Some of the 53 cycles where this modality will be taught are Administration and Finance, Microcomputer Systems and Networks, Teaching and Socio-sports Animation, Marketing and Advertising, International Trade or Transport and Logistics, among others.
