PAMPLONA, 14 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Department of Education of the Government of Navarra has launched a new automatic notification of positive cases of COVID-19 to families, teachers and those responsible for educational centers in order to “speed up the communication process and facilitate the educational community’s management of positive cases.
The Covid managers of the educational centers will inform the teaching staff and staff of the center related to the classroom and the relatives or legal guardians of the rest of the children in a class where confirmed cases of the situation have been detected, and they will be instructed that during 10 days after the last exposure “extreme precautions and reduce social interactions as much as possible by constantly using the mask, in accordance with current legislation. In particular, contact with vulnerable people should be avoided.”
Likewise, they will be instructed that before the appearance of symptoms compatible with the virus they do not go to class and contact the health system, the Provincial Executive explained in a statement.
To do this, an automatic mechanism has been enabled that will ensure that, every time there is a positive case confirmed by the Department of Health in a stable group of coexistence in early childhood or primary education, a notification is sent informing the students of the group, to all the relatives of said students, to the teaching staff of the group and to those responsible for Covid of the educational center.
In order for the relatives of the students to receive this new notification correctly, they must be registered as such in the department’s Educa portal and they must have a valid email address registered. The recipients of the notification will be sent, in addition to the email, an internal message in the Educa messaging service for greater security.
For centers that do not have the contact details of the students’ relatives adequately registered in Educa and do not have the capacity to do so within a reasonable period of time, the alternative of including in all these new notifications those responsible for Covid of the center, so that they can forward it more comfortably to all those interested in the positive case.
In any case, any information channel established in each center “will be adequate and accepted”, provided that it complies with the agreement of January 8, 2022, within the Public Health Commission of the Interterritorial Council, with a view to restart of academic activity for the 2021/2022 academic year after the Christmas holidays.
This new automatic notification mechanism is added to, and does not replace, those already enabled to date:
– Notification of confirmed positive cases to Covid officials, management teams and Inspectors of each center.
– Notification of confinement of a stable group of coexistence to Covid managers, management teams and Inspectors of each center.
– Notification of deconfinement of stable coexistence group to Covid managers, management teams and Inspectors of each center.
– Notification of screening of stable group of coexistence to Covid managers, management teams and Inspectors of each center.
